2009 Tennis Staff



Mark Renneson , Tennis Director

Mark will be heading the tennis department for his third season in 2009.  As a game-based coach, Mark's focus in on teaching in a way that puts the needs of students first while respecting the fact that tennis is a game to be played -- not just a set of techniques to be modeled.   

Mark is based in Vancouver, has Tennis Canada Coach 2 and Club Pro 2 certification and is involved in delivering the instructor certification course in British Columbia.  In 2009 Mark earned a Master's Degree in Philosophy of Education from the University of Toronto where for five years he was the captain of the Men's Varsity Tennis Team.  





Stan Nevolovich , Club Professional

Stan is back in 2009 for his second season at the Ojibway Club having been a great asset in 2008.  Originally from South Africa, Stan played Division 1 college tennis in both Louisiana and Montana and has since transfered his considerable playing success into his coaching.  

Stan's friendly, professional and demanding coaching attitude is immediately apparent and he divides his time between coaching private lessons and leading the tennis portion of the Ojibway Club's day camp.  Stan has Tennis Canada Coach 1 certification and finished his BA at York University.
